LVP (Luxury Vinyl Planks) &
LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tiles)
Luxury Vinyl Tiles and planks are flooring game-changers.
LVT and LVP are relatively new products in the flooring industry. For a while, commercials designers were the only ones who took advantage of these products, but the advances have been so great that it’s not flying under the radar anymore and has found itself in high demand with retail consumers. What sets it apart is the way it’s manufactured and the overall aesthetics–it’s able to precisely replicate the look and feel of wood, tile and stone–while being a product that is much more versatile than standard vinyls.
Benefits of LVT and LVP include:
Design Choices: Luxury Vinyl has a large and unique variety of realistic colors, textures and designs. You can also choose to have a near seamless look or create a dramatic variation between individual tiles. Tiles can even be grouted to more closely mimic the look of ceramic or stone.
Quick Installation: A normal installation can be completed in a fraction of the time it takes to complete a similar ceramic tile installation. Luxury Vinyl can also be glued down or “floated”–individual tiles can be fitted and locked together without glue, to sit or float on a special underlayers.
Durability: Luxury Vinyl is known for its durability and resistance to scratching, making it a great choice for areas of heavy foot traffic.
Feel: Luxury Vinyl is considered “warmer” to the touch than ceramic and other natural stones, and has sound-dampening qualities.
Maintenance: Luxury Vinyl is relatively easy to clean and maintain and is guaranteed to keep its vibrant color much longer than ceramic tile or vinyl.
